授業の概要

様々なメディアによるコミュニケーションについて、その構造と発信方法を分析検討し、発信されている情報やメッセージをより早く、正確に理解する学習を行う。実際に英語で発信された、新聞記事、映画、コマーシャル、TV番組、ラジオ番組を教材として使用する。

具体的には、下記の2点を学習成果とする。

① 様々なメディアによるコミュニケーションの特性を理解する。

② 英語により発信される情報やメッセージを正確に理解する。
学習到着目標

国際コミュニケーション科の学習成果『Ⅲ 各分野の応用力・専門性』の習得、『Ⅳ ① 問題を発見する力』『Ⅳ ② 考える力・思考力』『Ⅳ ④ コミュニケーション力・表現力』の向上を目標とする。具体的には『それぞれのメディアで発信される情報やメッセージを理解する専門性の高い英語の力』の獲得を目指し、『問題を発見する力、考える力』を向上し、『英語によるコミュニケーション能力』を伸張する。
